I live for a good health share. I love empowering others, and I love to see people live their healthiest verison of themselves. Why? I’ve been there. Now this is one of those blogs that you may wanna takes notes! Turmeric is a staple item that EVERYONE should keep in their kitchen. Turmeric is a SUPER spice that is packed with POWER because of its amazing health benefits. Did I say SUPER? Yes, that’s just how real it is! and gets!! If you want even more bang for your health, get the turmeric root. It’s a bit more potent. A little can take you a long way.
For this particular dish, all you need to do is sprinkle a desired amount onto your chicken & bake! Turmeric has a bit of a strong bland aquired taste, so please keep that in mind. Let’s not loose one another before we get started. LOL! Baby steps! But if you’re a seasoned turmeric user, by all means, sprinkle until your hearts desire. Turmeric can be incoporated into so many various recipes. Here are some. Lattes, teas, soups, rice, chicken, dressings, milk, vegetables, meats, & more! Turmeric is a very strong antioxidant with powerful anti-flammatory effects. Some of its benefits include medicinal properties, it can help prevent & perhaps even treat cancer, good for treating arthritis/depression, the potential to prevent heart disease, help lower blood sugar, and blood pressure. Oh yeah! Bottom line, turmeric is pretty much AMAZING!!
For this baked chicken recipe I basically used onions, tomatoes, & green peppers for my veggies. They also add tons of added flavor. After your chicken has been washed, season to taste. I love garlic, so I used garlic powder, a dash of creole for a bit of a kick, accent, & greek seasoning. For herbs, I tossed in some freshly chopped basil. Once complete, sprinkle on desired amount of turmeric. Toss in your veggies and spread evenly covering you chicken. Cover dish with aluminum & bake on 375 degrees for about an hour 1/2. Remove from oven. Your chicken will be full of flavor, along with a beautiful golden yellow tone! Enjoy!
