It’s day 3 of my 5 day “fruit of the day” challenge! I’m super excited for those that have joined in to participate! Koodos! The purpose of this challenge was to challenge everyone to eat more fruit DAILY! Keep in mind, just because my 5 day “fruit of the day” challenge will be coming to an end, doesn’t mean you need to stop eating fruit! Let’s be intentional in order to see results! Now, as you can see, I chose cantaloupe as my fruit of the day. I love cantaloupe! As I was preparing my cantaloupe, it took everything within me NOT to eat the entire thing! Yes, the struggle is real! But that’s a good struggle! This cantaloupe is SUPER sweet! I also allowed it to sit a for a few days after I purchased it. That made it extra sweet, & it is delish! Now, you may be wondering, “what are some of the benefits of cantaloupes?” Hmmmmmm.. I’m glad you asked! 1. Cantaloupes are good for potassium. 2. Cantaloupes a good source of your B vitamins (B1, B3, B6, and folate) 3. Cantaloupes are a good source of vitamin K, magnesium, & fiber. 4. Cantaloupes also provides omega-3 fat in the form of alpha-linolenic acid. So, make sure you’re eating your fruit, & get your fruit on! Your body will thank you!
