This sweetheart is the perfect smoothie for mornings/afternoons/nights. I actually made this for a night cap. Yes, smoothies are the ideal thing to drink at night! Another perk! There’s NO bad time to drink a smoothie! So quit cheating yourself and indulge. Obviously I was thirsty, but I craved something sweet at the same time. So why not blend up? Also, I wanted to get in some good extra protein. Perfect combo. Plus, I threw in some extra Omega 3. For the win! This pineapple banana chia smoothie is gonna take you on another tropical adventure! Let’s get to it. Oh yes!
1/2 cup of unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1 tbsp of plain Greek yogurt
1 cup of frozen pineapple chunks (I used fresh) highly recommend
1 well ripened banana
1 tsp of chia seeds
Blend & enjoy!
~Once blended, add another 1/2 tsp of chia seeds for topping~ (Optional)
