Ok, today marks day 1 of my 21 day smoothie challenge!! Eekkkk!!! I hope that you all are as excited as I am! I decided to do conduct this smoothie challenge in efforts to encourage everyone & to bring even more awareness of the importance of a healthy lifestyle! All of my smoothie recipes are designed to be drank mornings or afternoons! Your choice! Also, feel free to drink more than 1 a day ! (I am)!
Another thing, there’s no wrong way to make a smoothie! If you want to add or delete a fruit/veggie & incorporate one/more of your own choice, by all means do so! That’s the brilliance of a smoothie! You can add as much as you like! All of my smoothies are catered for health. I DO NOT use any sweeteners such as sugars in my smoothies! Nothing but the sweetness of fresh fruits/veggies! Now, if you feel the need for added sweetness, I would recommend organic raw honey, dates, (pitted), or maple syrup. Remember, the riper the fruit, the sweeter your outcome! (I.e.; bananas) Now, let’s do this!!!
1/2 cup of frozen strawberries
1/2 cup of pineapples
1 1/2 of a frozen banana
1 cup of pineapple/orange juice (or plain OJ)
Blend & enjoy!
