Pre-Cold Remedy Booster 🤧

It’s been a moment since my last blog, & with that being said I decided to reshare this recipe. It’s that time of year for cold/flu season, so what better way to fight off those nasty germs with this drink? So, this is the perfect time to refresh your memories.

Here’s another GREAT pre-cold remedy drink that is quite amazing! I normally drink this baby when I feel the sniffles coming on, an itchy throat, cough, or any other cold related issues. I recommend drinking this at least 2-3 times daily, or as needed. All of the below ingredients are totally great for a daily intake of health improvement, but especially to rid of a nasty cold virus. Also, it’s quite tasty in my opinion! Soooooo, let’s get started!

Ingredients:

OJ (1/2 or 1 cup )

Turmeric (2-3 shakes if loose)-if you’re using a fresh turmeric root, (a small chunk)

3 cloves of fresh garlic (or to taste)

fresh ginger root (2-3 chunks, or add to taste)

1/2 of a fresh lemon (optional)

if you’re a fan of ginger like myself, the more the merrier

Preparation:

Throw all above ingredients into blender. Once blended, use a strainer to drain all excess ginger and/or turmeric root residue. Poor into desired glass & enjoy!!

Repeat steps as needed/desired for cold
