It’s a New Year, & like many others, I want to keep a healthy lifestyle at the top of my list. Besides spiritually! I have so many new recipes, but smoothies are super yummy, fun, easy, & not to mention healthy! Smoothies are so very versatile, & you can cater them to your very own taste! Smoothies can also be incorporated all through the day, so there’s no specific time when you cannot drink them! Personally, green smoothies are 1 of my favorites. Why? Let’s be honest. Most of us DO NOT implement “greens” enough in our daily diet & it is so vital for the function of our health. The great part is, you cannot taste the greenery that’s included! All you taste is pure goodness! With this particular TropiKale smoothie, it is sweet! Oh yes! I’m a sweet kinda girl. So all the more reason to GO GREEN & drink up! So, here’s what you will need.
Ingredients:
1/cup of kale
1/2 of a frozen banana (ripe)
1-2 chunks of fresh ginger
1/3 of a freshly squeezed lemon
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
1 green apple (chopped)
1 naval orange (chopped)
raw honey for added sweetness
Side note: I have a Nutribullet, so a bit of liquid is required (in this recipe, add a bit of water for blending consistency).
