Well, it’s been a minute. I know! Bummer huh? The good news is…..(drum rolls please) I’m back!! With that being said, the weather here down South has been crazy!!! Like crazy hot!! I mean, you could probably stick a piece of meat outdoors, & it would cook! Yeah! You get the idea! ย Anyways, needless to say hydration is a MUST, & we’re drinking plenty of water! But sometimes water can be boring. You can add fresh fruit to your water, but still feel like blah blah blah! I need more!
More is better! I ABSOLUTELY love smoothies, & so does my family. My kids will ask for smoothies pretty much all day if that were possible. But I love it, & what better way to have them get in all of their fruits/veggies! Total win! Since it’s been this hot/humid, it gives me the opportunity to play around & explore many different fruits/veggies. Yes! With that being said, I introduce you to Mrs. Sunshine! Here’s what she has included.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup of OJ
1 cup of frozen mango
1/2 cup of frozen pineapple
1 banana
1 strawberry topped for prettiness ( and eating!! Lol)
key factor> we allow our fruit to sit out longer for that extra sweetness before we chop & freeze. It makes a HUGE difference! Thank me later
