Roasted Chickpeas

I will start this blog off by providing you with 5 great reasons to eat chickpeas! These babies are small in size, with HUGE benefits!! 😊 My sister introduced me to these, and boy am I thankful!! So, let’s get this party started!!

  1. Chickpeas are protein packed!
  2. Gluten free
  3. Dairy free
  4. Completely vegan
  5. Nut free

Preparation-1 can of chickpeas (drained) & dried. You want to make sure you dry them off before seasoning, to avoid sogginess. Place them in a pan and slightly separate.  Drizzle olive oil or coconut oil over top (I used coconut oil) Lastly, season to taste. I like my chickpeas a bit spicy, so I used Accent and Creole seasoning. Pop these little babies in the oven until browned and you’re done! Eat and enjoy!!

Chickpeas make a wonderful, healthy, and filling snack. So what are you waiting for??!! Go out and grab some!

  2. LOL. Hillarious. Sounds familiar. We’ve been eating them all this time & my husband just decided yesterday that he wanted to try them!
